Areas of Intervention

Key Focus Areas of the Former Presidents Wives Coalition of Africa

Provide support and resources to ensure the former president's wives' financial security, institutional recognition, and continued societal contributions.

Establish initiatives to document and promote the legacies of former Presidents' wives and their spouses through museums, publications, and cultural programs.

Engage with governments to ensure the rights and welfare of former First Families are protected, particularly regarding pensions, security, and national recognition.

Serve as mediators and peace ambassadors to promote unity and reconciliation, especially during political transitions and post-conflict situations.

Create mentorship opportunities for young women, empowering them to become future leaders through education, guidance, and inspiration.

Facilitate dialogues on cultural preservation, social development, and the role of women in diplomacy across African nations.

Support philanthropic projects that align with the Coalition’s mission, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, and women's empowerment.
